The Meadow

  • Entering the car park: Please make sure your vehicle is off the road before exiting to open the first entrance gate to the car park.

  • Entry & Exit: You may only enter the meadow at the start of your time slot, and only once the field is clear, to ensure safe transitions between visitors. If a previous visitor has overstayed, please do not enter - contact us on 07786 707643. Once inside, ensure the gate is secure behind you before letting your dog(s) off the lead.

  • Obstacle Course: Woodbridge Meadow includes an obstacle course, which is used entirely at your own risk. Please assess the equipment and ground conditions before use and satisfy yourself that they are suitable for your dog - conditions change with the weather and equipment may be wet, slippery or unstable. Stay with your dog and assist them at all times. The obstacles are for dogs only: adults and children must not climb, sit or stand on them. Some obstacles are positioned near the perimeter fence, so on your first visit please check that your dog cannot use them to reach or climb the fence, and do not use them if you have any doubt. Spots Meadow and the owner of the dog field take no responsibility for any injury to individuals, dog(s) or personal possessions arising from use of the obstacle course.

  • Jumping Area: Please set the poles at a height appropriate to your dog's size, age and fitness, and check the ground beneath before use. Jumping is unsuitable for puppies, older dogs and dogs with joint conditions - if in doubt, do not use the area. Poles are used at your own risk. Please replace any poles that are knocked down before you leave.

  • Training Area: The fenced training area is provided for recall work and training. Any equipment must be used responsibly and checked for suitability for your dog before use. Please do not allow dogs to chew or eat the equipment, and return everything to its original position at the end of your session. Please report any damaged or missing equipment to us on 07786 707643.

  • The Mound: There is a small dirt hill located in the field which can become very slippery and unstable. You can use this dirt hill at your own risk- Spots Meadow and the owner of the dog field you are using take no responsibility for any injuries incurred to individuals, dog(s) or personal possessions whilst using the dirt hill. If you do use the mound at your own risk, please wear appropriate footwear and clothing.

  • Neighbours: Little Bealings Meadow is located at the edge of the village. Please be considerate to the surrounding neighbours who have the right to use our complaints procedures if they feel users have acted inappropriately.

  • Other animals: Please be aware that there are cattle located in the adjacent field on the eastern side. If you feel your dog shouldn’t be near cattle, then please don’t use our Little Bealings Meadow.

  • Water: You will need to bring drinking water for yourself, your family members, friends, and your dog(s).

  • Vehicles allowed: You are allowed 4 vehicles at one time.

  • Dogs allowed: Maximum of 6 dogs at one time.
